I used this product as a salt indicator on my well water system by installing it on the top cover .Unit works great and is very accurate.

I've had to get one rma so far, the plug in unit stopped working.The replacement worked good for a few months but seems to stop working when it's in direct sun, like it overheats.The accuracy is very close to my PTDevices unit though, so they work together well!

The media could not be loaded. I wondered if something like this existed and was happy to find that it did! I installed this about 3 months ago and loved it. You set the "bottom" and "top" of the tank levels, and the app will give you the percentage full your tank is. My tank is 1500 gallons, and it's pretty easy to figure out how much water I've got. For that part, I'd give it 5 stars.The problem is that after 3 months, it just quit working. The app now just shows the sensor reading 100% no matter what. I've unplugged everything, left it unplugged, gone through the setup again, and nothing. It just seems to be stuck now. The app is a "generic" monitoring app that this manufacturer just added their device to, so the app itself has zero information about how or if I could "reset" the device itself. The printed instructions that came with the device are cute (it was labelled "User Manuel"), but pretty much useless for anything other than initial setup.Bottom line, it was great out of the box and when first setup - terrible to repair and no support that I can find anywhere. So, 1 star.

Easy to install and works as advertised. Very helpful to see water level, refill time, and refill frequency, especially when running irrigation systems. Only disappointment is required to subscribe to service to get SMS text notifications for high or low water alerts.

It's a great idea but there are issues with this device that should be addressed if used outdoors. The cable bushing on the ultrasonic sender does not seal so you will need to put some liquid electrical tape sealer in this bushing. Also, I saw where one review installed the RF receiver/monitor outside too and it is not intended to be weatherproof. The adapter cable couples to the sender with a plug that is also not weatherproof so if you expose this portion of the cable to weather it needs to be taped up, which is easy to do. Obviously, the sender power adapter is not weatherproof so it needs to be plugged into a protected outlet.With that out of the way, this is a new install so I don't know how reliable this will be but the setup was easy so you should be able to get this up and running in minutes. I would not recommend using this for anything other than water or dry piles like salt as it is likely unsafe for fuel/oil tanks.I am very disappointed that there is no email notification option. Also, it is not IFTTT compatible as indicated in the app. There is the ability to create scenes for paid notifications and basic controls but I found this to be very confusing and cumbersome to set up. You can buy text and email notifications but the plans are expensive and the descriptions are confusing. I wanted to buy a plan for 200 text notifications that did not expire in 30 days but the plan descriptions are so bad I don't know if that is even possible. For these reasons, I am giving this 2 stars. If free email were an option I would have given it 4 stars and if it were IP67 rated and had free email and solid IFTTT compatibility I would give it 5 stars. There is really no excuse for a cloud device to lack this functionality today, in my opinion.For me, this is only an interim solution until I can find something better that is IFTTT compatible and can provide basic notifications without monthly or annual charges.
