I discovered Cake back in 2019 and it’s the only hair care brand I use as off 2025! The scent is delicious and my hair feels so much better!Pros: healthy for my hair, no waxy textures, hair feels clean, doesn’t leave build up, safe for bleach/highlights (doesn’t aid brassy discoloration)Cons: always sold out at my local supplier so I have to get it from amazon

I have bad allergies and chronic sinusitis so the first thing I notice is the smell. If it doesn't give me an instant headache, then I'll give it a try. This shampoo smells great and left my hair soft. I also tried the conditioner but it was awful. I would definitely buy the shampoo again!

This shampoo leaves the hair completely unmanageable, and is not lightweight at all. The creamy cocunut pie scent is very subtle and rather unnoticeable once your hair is dry. It leaves your hair greasy and heavy. It felt, as if, I had attempted to wash out a tub of Vaseline out of my hair without much success. Zero recommend!
