Works really great 96% of the time
Big compost bag, works really well in a kitchen size garbage can. Easy to grab and take to the garbage bin outside. But I would say that 1 out of 40 times, the bottom of the bag will break and spill compostable garbage all over my hardwood floors. I have to get down and clean most of it, and my dogs get the rest, but a huge pain. I've now taken to just carrying the big itself with the liner to the garbage bin outside. But otherwise highly recommend, better than the other brands I've tried.

Very durable
These bags are exceptional and do not decompose too early, as some other bags do. Highly recommend.

Quality has significantly degraded since first on the market
I use this product for kitchen garbage. When I first heard about it and bought it, I was thrilled. I'm a consumer dedicated to preserving, in every way, the ecology of planet Earth. I had been using biodegradable bags for my kitchen garbage for years, and found that to avoid dumping the contents on the floor as I walked it out to the dumpster, I had to double or triple bag it - that is, put two liners or three into my garbage container at the outset. When I found these bags, I rejoiced. Clearly biodegradable, but strong enough to hold being half filled and make it to the dumpster! I felt I'd found a really good company. The last time I purchased them, lo and behold - they were observably thinner. Then came the sad truth - the bottom gave way - it had bio-degraded in my trash container - and the entire contents landed on my kitchen floor. Ugh. Messy clean up. From now on, two bags, maybe three. The profit motive had taken hold of Bag-to-Nature, and not only had they degraded their own product, they hadn't had the good taste to inform the customers that now, this was a thinner, weaker bag, and that lining the trash big with two - or even three - was a good idea. Still using them, but sad.

Best Fully Compostable Bags Around
If you're looking into compostable bags, the most important qualifier is whether or not it is truly compostable. Where I live, in San Mateo County in California, bags and liners that end up in the compost bins must be approved by BPI (Biodegradable Products Institute), which these are (check out the little black and white "Compostable" logo at one of the top corners of the box).So in principle that's great, in practice, however, we've gone through tons of brands of fully compostable bags and ended up with bags that leaked after two days. We had to double bag the bin and switch out the bag twice a week, and still ended up having to hose down the bin every week or two because something leaked. Not efficient, not cost effective and a lot of non-justifiable waste having to use two bags each time. And lo, here came Bag To Nature! These are the most sturdy compostable bags I have tried (and I have tried a LOT), which means no more leaks, no more doubling up bags in the compost bin. I had given up hopes to see this kind of performance out of a 100% biodegradable bag.I still try to swap out the bag twice a week, but if I forget, it's usually fine. I have been using these for months, and I think I've only had a leak once.Hands down the best.

These bags last and don't break down before you are ready to throw them out.
I have used another brand of compostable bags that were thin, flimsy, and that tended to stick together from the factory so you couldn't open them without making holes. These are enough thicker and not flimsy, and they don't stick together at all, so I have had no wasted bags at all since I switched to this brand. My advice to everyone is to stop buying compostable bags in the supermarket, and start buying these over the internet. You won't be sorry.

Heavy duty but compostable
I have tried other compostable 13-gallon kitchen garbage bags, but these set the standard. I have experienced very little tearing with these bags. Bear in mind that these are permeable, so if you put stinky stuff in your kitchen can, and if it doesn’t have an airtight lid, you are going to get a garbage smell. I put some baking soda in the bottom of my can, and that does a decent job of containing odors. I recommend these bags if you are trying to maintain an eco-friendly consciousness in your life.

Okay
These are not as good as some other compostable/eco-friendly bags that I've tried before - it's easy to break and get leaks. Either way, however, I am happy to be doing a small part to help the environment by trying these out!

Sturdy and Biodegradable
This is by far the sturdiest biodegradable bag. It feels dry to the touch, whereas the other ones I've tried almost feel moist, and when any wetness touches them they dissolve quickly and make a mess in my trash can. The other brands I would have to double bag and they can only stay for a couple days or make a mess. I am very pleased with this bag - it's way way stronger. Highly recommend. (Also its bigger than the others so it does not slip down inside the can)

do not recommend
These are extremely thin and easily get punctured by almost anything even chicken bones.Theyre also not tall enough for ottawa green bins and the opening is not large enough to even attempt to line the green bin despite the height deficiencyUseless bags for anyone

Good size
Very good compost bags, only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it didn't quite fit our compost bin and needed to be stretched a little bit.

Contrary to their claim, it definitely does sweat!
It is advertised as a bag that doesn’t leak or sweat. That is simply not true. When I removed this compost bag from my bin there was a large pool of liquid at the bottom of my bin.Edit: when you double bag it, it no longer sweats so I’ll make it 3 stars instead of 1

A GREAT Kitchen Garbage Bag!
These kitchen bags are sturdy and durable, maybe not as much as plastic, BUT they are WAY better for the environment, so I will keep buying them. A great product!!!
