Batteries quickly lost charging capability. Unusable.

Received my flashlight a couple of days ago and I use it every night when I walk my dogs. I’ve bought hundreds of flashlights and I think this is probably the best one I’ve ever owned. It’s extremely bright on the high and then you have medium and low. But even when you use low there isn’t a whole Lotta difference between that and using the High. Plus you can tell how much power you have left in your battery. First time I’ve ever owned a Flashlight that could tell you how low your battery is. On a scale from 1 to 9.The flashlight is a handful but that’s it and you would expect that with a flashlight that has 10,000 Lumen,s. It was an Amazon‘s choice and I’m glad I bought it. My opinion.

Purchased this for general use but also to help chase of critters in our back yard. This light is plenty bright and will leave you seeing stars if you look directly at it.It definitely gets warm after 10 minutes in use but my hands were cold anyway.Charging: They put a note in there but it bears repeating: Don't use a usb plugged into a power brick, just use the USB cable from a USB port. It won't charge otherwise.I'm happy with this light, it does what I bought it for.

Super bright .Low level is as bright, or brighter than a good older style flashlight.Mid Level seems much brighter than any of the pro Incandescent flashlights.High setting in my opinion , seems to be 5x brighter than an old style 2 cell flashlight. It will fill a dark room with light , similar to what 2 light bulbs on a light switch would do.The light is compact with a hefty feel to it. It has a led screen with the #9 showing at full charge. The numbers decrease indicating battery life.

This is a good flashlight with a wide angle light (flood) disbursement vs. a narrow (spot) disbursement It DOES have replaceable batteries. They ARE button top 18650 batteries. After unscrewing the base cap, you would remove 4 small Philips screws. They are under spring tension so be sure to apply pressure to the battery connector circiut board. This flashlight has a descent white light and good distance. Great for walks and other outdoor activities.

After a year with practically no use, it will not run at all on battery power. Very important update. Without my prompting the vendor contacted me to replace my torch at no charge and with no return of the original product. I got my new torch yesterday, and it works well. Way to go Semlos. I will review again after a reasonable time, for now I am well pleased.

I really wanted to love this flashlight, I read the reviews and it's been a while since I started collecting flashlights again, I started 10 years ago with a fenix tk41 and thought I would never need another flashlight again. This was my first purchase since and then on to olight, noctigon, emisar,fireflies and acebeam, please if any of you have any questions I will try to help. I didnt know to much about semlos and after some brief reading on specs I gave it a try. 10000 lumens for that price I thought was a great price. Box came in perfectly, no damage, very simple instructions and a imput charger so no need to be opening it and messing with batteries to charge. I was greatly disappointed because I felt the lumens were greatly exaggerated. I took a while to write this review because I ordered about 15 more flashlight and with my simple testing methods i wanted to compare it to other brands that state various lumens and ui including most with anduril. This flashlight is no where close to 10000 lumens not even at full charge using the best batteries that I bought to really give this a fighting chance. I will say the ui is simple, lock out ,low ,medium ,high and strobe with the ability to easily lock it out for storage or accidentally turning it on. I am pretty confident you will get about 1100 lumens on high and that's a far cry from 10000, I also felt the power button and display was cheap compared to the rest of the build and could have been done more tastefully. Battery life is not great and for a soda can size the weight of is a little much to carry around for what it puts out. I am not counting this company out and hope they fix above issues. In the meantime if you are looking for some great flashlight options I will be happy to share. I plan to review them all.in order with all stats. Full disclosure I write flashlight reviews. I do not write about every flashlight I get my hand onMost of my reviews are on higher end flashlight and again this one was on the fence. Originally I bought this for backpacking, however, as awesome as this light is, I decided I am using it by default as I've never seen anything this bright before. DO NOT SHINE THIS IN YOUR OR ANYONE ELSE'S EYES, IT WILL BURN YOUR EYES. I will say it's heavy, not exactly an ultralight backpacking light, but for everyday use, I promise you will not be dissatisfied, Solid like a rock.
