This basket buckles under any weight, I can’t put anything in it. Not even the empty tubes from my bicycle tires (very light). I had my bike in for repairs and had the basket on and didn’t get my bike back in time to return it. I wouldn’t buy it again. Install is easy, fits my bike, just doesn’t do anything but look cute.

I ordered this basket in the belief that it was wicker- probably because the headline says "Handmade Woven Wicker". So I was pretty sad when I opened it and it was plastic. I also SERIOUSLY doubt that this is handmade. I wish vendors would put the most essential information about their products in the product headline and not buried in the details of the listing. Having said that, I've decided that a plastic basket is actually useful in that it is more weatherproof than a typical wicker basket. I happen to own a REAL wicker bike basket, shown on the left in this photo. It has a wire-reinforced frame, including along the bottom. It also has real leather straps. This plastic basket does not have any reinforcement and the straps are fake leather, so I don't think it can hold as much weight as the real one. It does look nice and can carry a lunch or some flowers or something, so as long as you know what you're getting, it is a nice product.

I have a antique ladies bike and I’m about to repaint and place in my lawn for decorative use I was wanting a pvc woven basket for the front and the paint I chose this basket is a cream and will be perfect with the cream pale yellow and lite green I picked for my bike thanks for having exactly what I needed

It’s cute but I’m pissed I gotta return it cause it’s advertised for E-bikes and E-scooters but can’t fit around a brake handle. The straps are adjustable so I just put them further up, and now it sags too much to hold anything. Don’t get it for an E-scooter, or anything with a big brake handle

Fell so hard in love with the old fashioned romance of this pseudo-wicker looking bicycle basket that I impulsively ordered it without even yet having the bike to go with it...but now I'm up to the task.I'll admit, it feels a bit like ordering a pair of earrings or an evening wrap and then searching for the cocktail dress...but so it goes: this inspires me to hold out for a bike with upright handle bars and a wide, well-cushioned so that I can sit upright, look around to enjoy the views on a classic touring bike...and me SO much more visible to automobile drivers than I would on a downhill racing bike here in the big city!

Don't be fooled. There a small thin aluminum wire in the top that cannot hold any weight and the rest of the basket material is flexible plastic with no ribs or support.This will droop down to rub on your tires and cannot hold it's own weight.Even after reinforcement this is only good as a picnic basket on its own
