Can someone upload a picture of the mat? I would like to see what the texture looks like. I am very sweaty in yoga and find most mats slippery
Can you use the mat on either side? I see that these now come in different colour combinations - blue/slate, black/green and aubergine/lavender
is the rubber hard to the touch. I have had a mat before that was hard and would make my hand ache
Does the mat feel like rubber to touch? Or does it have a smooth finish on it?

Too slippery for comfort
I was recommended thus mat by my yoga tutor so was expecting great things, however, it's just unusable.... it's so slippery even with dry hands by the time you get even a tiny bit sweaty it's just impossible, down dog, warrior poses or any standing poses are a nightmare...I had to give up in my class and use the floor as even a wooden floor was less slippery than this mat, I have to use 2 mats during yoga and this mat is very thin, it also seems to stretch which is disconcerting...otherwise it's lovely, I like the weight or it, I didn't find it smelt at all and I must say 4 others use this mat in my class and have had no issues so... who knows, I should add that I washed this after suggestions that it might help it stop being slippery and it's made no difference...

Not sure if it's worth the extra money..
I spent the extra money on this mat, as I Iiked the fact it was natural rubber, and also the many reviews which said it had really good grip. It is a heavy mat and I excitedly took it to Ashtanga yoga today. Tried downward dog and oh no, still slipping on my sweaty hands. What a disappointment. It was good in other ways, longer than an average mat, gripped floor well,and I found it to have no smell. So I will probably keep it, but it's not as ideal I hoped it would be.

Lovely mat, I think it will last a long ...
Lovely mat, I think it will last a long time too. The only downside is the mat is quite heavy. If you have it on your shoulders for 20 mins you will feel the weight of it. The rubber smell hasnt really gone away but i doesnt bother me too much.

The best yoga mat
I have been using this product for a year now, usually six times a week and hardly a mark on it. It did smell of rubber when it first arrived as others have mentioned, so I hung it up in the garage for a month. Hands did smell slightly of rubber when first used - but now absolutely no smell at all. It is heavier than most mats, but you get used to it and performance on it is excellent, no slip/stretch issues. Rolls up easily for storage. If it ever wears out, I will buy exactly the same thing again.

Is good
It’s a comfy matt but my hands slip when I ge sweaty and it makes my body smell and taste like rubber!

It's a natural rubber yoga mat. Right size, good quality. Not much else to say about it.

very good mat, good grip, only negative is it's a bit smelly due to the natural rubber but that goes after a time. Good value.

Not a sticky mat. Quality, design and overall feel of the mat is lovely. However it does not give me the traction I thought it would to prevent my hands from slipping.
