Hello, I used the 22 gauge for earrings. I didn't use them for wrapping but I think they would be fine for that purpose. I purchased gold and silver both are quality items. The gold does not rub off. Recommend

Q: Can you place a 6mm bead on this and it won't slide off

The bead will stay on as long as the bead hole is not larger than the ball on the head pin but most 6 mm beads will not slide over the ball.
