This thing is AWESOME! To start with, here’s a little history: I bought a Vidalia Chop Wizard when it first came out, 20-25 years ago. I used it A LOT, but as a petite woman, I always had trouble with it. Even though I’m pretty strong and used to dig out garden beds and move 50+ lbs. boulders in the garden, I would have to stand on my tip-toes to get enough leverage and push down as hard as I could, using all of my weight in order to get it to work. I would literally have to pound on it just to dice half an onion. Well, after all that abuse, the thing finally cracked beyond repair. I figured I’d gotten a lot of use out of it so it was worth buying another one, so to Amazon I went.When I searched for it, I not only found it but also THIS model from a different manufacturer. It had great reviews and many more attachments, so I figured I would give it a try. HUGE IMPROVEMENT!!!! Not only does it have so many more options, but I have NO STRUGGLE USING IT AT ALL. I don’t have to stand on my toes, use all my body weight, or act like I’m wrestling an alligator in a death match. OMG what a game changer! I’m so glad I gave this alternative a try. It’s so much better than the “original.”

Great to have in the kitchen!Will have one from now on.The "professional" version is difficult to change the blades. Don't reccomend that version.This one is great. It all fits in the box.The top fits on the bottom either direction.

Works exactly as it should. Everything fits inside for easy storage. The little cleaning tools are helpful in getting little bits out. My kids both enjoyed trying the chopper as well. I love that its a kitchen tool that the kids can pretty safely use to help in the meal making process.

This is great. I've put up with cutting everything by hand far too long, but be careful. I cut myself the first time I washed it – blades are really sharp! There's one major disappointment, though. There is only one blade size for slicing and it's very thin. I wanted one that did a bigger size for tomatoes and such. They should have had that instead of all the choices for julienne, which I may never need. I should have asked that question before I purchased. I'm keeping it and may contact them to see if they have one I can purchase. Will update when applicable. That takes off 1 star.

I had previously got one of these choppers a couple of years ago, but I accidentally broke it. I ordered another one asap. It makes cooking and the cleaning so much easier! I even ordered my mom one because it’s such a time saver!

Works well. i’ve tried several choppers and this is the best I’ve ever used easy to clean easy to use and vegetables look great after being chopped.

Love this chopper. It is convenient, and quick. I love the options it gives for chopping, shredding, etc. My favorite is the small and larger cube sizes one can use to chop potatoes, carrots, cucumbers, and even tomatoes. I was shocked to see the tomatoes cut up nicely into cubes, rather than getting smashed. Perfect for making salsa, or to add small cubed tomatoes to a salad. I used it for making my soups and it saved so much time and made the soup look very uniform. When doing potatoes I slice the potato into several wedges, the thickness I would want to make the cubes, then place the wedge on the grid slicer and press the lid down. Do the same thing with carrots. It is so easy that my grandchildren like to help. Of course it is a little noisy when the lid slams shut but nothing like an electric chopper. The grids are very sharp so be careful. Onions pieces get caught in the grid on the lid but they are easily removed with a small comb-like tool that they include, along with a brush. Easy to clean. The different graters, grids, etc are easy to interchange. This was well worth buying.

Absolute game changer. We visited some friends, saw this glorious gadget in action, and I ordered one faster than you can say “pass the Parmesan.” Suddenly, I’m eating more veggies—not because I’m healthy, but because chopping and grating them is actually fun now. It’s dishwasher-friendly (bless) but beware: the blades are sharper than my mother-in-law’s sarcasm. Handle with care… and maybe goggles.
