This plastic excavator truck is nicely done. The manual arm works very well scooping up soft material and the excavator does a complete 360-degree rotation. If you get tired of the sound effects, just pop the small button battery out. Purchased for a five-year-old, we have a Bstoyder crane farm truck that has held up well since last Christmas.Currently priced at $45.99 it is priced significantly higher than the other trucks in this series. I am not sure the price difference is warranted. With any plastic toy small parts have the greatest probability of being broken. In this case the weakest point are the mirrors. If your child is really hard on toys to the point of being destructive, you might want to consider alternatives such as a front-end loader rather than an excavator. When extended the excavator arm is long and has joints which could be twisted and broken.

This truck is soo much fun and will be a great ad on to my child's construction toy collection ready to use upon opening and provides hours of fun in my experience! We have the garbage sorting truck and the excavator truck, and both are well made. They can be pushed and power their own momentum (hard to explain but it works well). The construction vehicle is unique; kinda a tow truck with an excavator on the bed. It rotates and the boom articulates, giving them something to do with the vehicle besides drive it. I personally think the garbage sorter gives you a bit more mileage with imagination and duration of interest. But these are good toys for kiddos in the 2-4 range. Yes they’re plastic but they’re not flimsy. I’d be happy to give one as a gift to close family, or to buy another one.

My 3 year old grandson, loves this truck. It makes three different sounds and has lights. A definite improvement over many of his trucks and tractors. His dad is a residential contractor so he loves all things construction related. The truck is pretty sturdy and will hold up to hours of play.

The media could not be loaded. My husband, son, and I are all very impressed and satisfied with the quality and features of this toy. The size of the toy is great for my two year old son. This truck has a functional scoop bucket that can turn in a 360 degree motion. The functional bucket makes this toy a perfect addition to our playtime in the sandbox. My son is able to manually turn the crank and scoop up sand in to the bucket on his own. The bucket holds a few ounces of sand. The truck also has three yellow buttons on the front that each make a different realistic sound. The front of the vehicle has lights that flash when the sounds play. The car has a friction motor so it continues moving forward after being pushed. The toy seems pretty durable so far. There is no volume control for the sounds. The current price of $41.99 seems a bit high based on the quality and features.

I got the Excavator Truck version of these vehicles toys for my 3 year old nephew and so far it's been a hit! He really like trucks and construction toys so this was a good fit, at least for the time being!My concern is with the quality of the toy and how long it might last. The plastic is a bit cheaper than I would have liked, and at the time I write this the MSRP is almost 50 dollars and I don't think the price matches with the quality. While it does work fine now and he likes how the crane part moves and picks up things, he and his brother like to play with their trucks pretty hard, especially in the sandbox.Oh, and I haven't tested the noise and lights as those "don't exist" at auntie and uncle's house!

This is a great truck that my toddler is obsessed with. I feel like it’s made pretty well in the value for your money. Definitely recommend if you have kids who love playing with vehicles.
