Happy with this upgrade. Pricey but well worth it.
Several years ago, I purchased the 10.9-inch Apple iPad, and like its predecessors, I have thoroughly enjoyed it. As someone who has worked with a variety of laptops, desktops, tablets, iPads, and Macs over the past two decades, I have found this device to be an excellent choice for personal use. I opted for what I consider the most comfortable and adaptable option, albeit one of the more expensive models. Given my limited use of the iPhone, I conduct approximately 95% of my internet browsing, social media interactions, emails, and research on my new 11-inch Apple A16 iPad from 2025.The size difference between the two models is negligible, yet I have enhanced my experience by pairing the iPad with an affordable keyboard that transforms it into a more efficient typing device, as I find the on-screen keyboard quite unsatisfactory. As a baby boomer at 63 years old, I appreciate the convenience of being able to use the iPad to make phone calls and send texts to my contacts, allowing for seamless communication. Additionally, I can easily stay in touch with my grandchildren who live out of state.I have consolidated my four email accounts—Yahoo, Gmail, iCloud, and AOL—into a single app, streamlining my communication. I can also set up various applications, including online college courses, without any issues. Although this purchase was a significant expense after just a few years—approximately four, if I recall correctly—the daily usage justifies the investment. The snap-in keyboard is adjustable to various angles, remains stable, and adds minimal weight to the iPad. Its dual function as a cover provides excellent protection against drops from considerable heights, which I find to be a significant advantage. The color of the iPad and the keyboard/cover complement each other beautifully; the blue hue of the iPad is particularly aesthetically pleasing, especially for those who favor that color.I appreciate the upgrades and was pleased to find that transferring data from my old iPad to the new one took less than ten minutes. After organizing some personal settings—such as disabling Siri, which I do not prefer—updating apps, and making cosmetic adjustments like resizing icons on the home screen and cleaning up photos, I felt satisfied with my decision to upgrade.I chose to make this transition during a period of downtime in my life, and while the process was neither challenging nor time-consuming, I am eager to explore new features. As I navigate my chemotherapy treatment, I find myself with ample time to utilize this device effectively. While the physical size difference is minimal, the improved typing speed, increased storage capacity, and overall experience have made me grateful for this upgrade. I highly recommend this Apple iPad and the specific model I have selected to meet my needs.***the color of his iPad is a pearlized cornflower or sky blue. It is quite beautiful and my phones camera did not do it justice i these photo’s. The color they show you on the webpage is much closer to the real color but until you see it in person, you can’t even imagine how lovely it is.

Great iPad
This iPad was more affordable for me than I thought it would be (and I still saved for a few months to get it). It works great for my needs which are primarily reading ebooks, journaling and writing or drawing and coloring, email, and reading my Substacks. The battery charges quickly and it holds a charge for a good while, I think on average I charge it once a week maybe. I do like the size of the screen as it makes it so much easier for me to read my ebooks. I think this one might be one of the least expensive iPads I have purchased and the only iPad I have ever purchased brand new, before I only got refurbished ones due to cost. I am pleased with this iPad.

Great iPad, love screen size and speed!
So far love the new iPad! I mostly use my iPad for watching movies while on treadmill, internet and playing games! iPad has always been good for me in past and have always had them until they quit supporting them and buy a new one! I love the bright colors on this one, it is fast with the new chip, and love the bigger screen from my last iPad as I think it was 9.7 inch. The battery life seems to be good too. Love the ease of use and functionality too.

This is an elegant, quick iPad with a fully useful screen. Great value and so "Apple"! Love it!
I've only had this iPad A16 for a few days and I love it! It is replacing my long used and much loved iPad Air 2 that is no longer being updated so the change was inevitable. However, the new iPad is so great, especially since it fully replicates the use of my iPhone except for facial recognition but finger touch on the side button works quite well. Gone is the Home screen button on the bottom of the iPad, freeing up even more work space. I set it up myself, all except hooking it up to my cell provider, which is going to happen tomorrow via the phone. The iPad is quick, the setup was pretty easy given my lack of technical skills, the battery life seems to last as advertised, and the iPad itself weighs no more than my old iPad; maybe less weight. I've added a terrific Magic Keyboard folder that has a 360* swivel that is super great. I'm also adding a L-tech crayon that doesn't require syncing, allowing me to use this amazing iPad as a drawing tool, a note-taking tool, etc.

Super fast and great screen—perfect everyday iPad
Upgraded to this iPad mainly for media, reading, and some light work stuff, and it's been awesome so far. The A16 chip makes everything feel super quick, and the screen is really sharp and bright—great for watching Netflix or YouTube. Battery lasts all day like they say, and it charges pretty fast too. I also like that it still has Touch ID. The blue color looks really nice in person—not too flashy but still different. No complaints here—if you’re looking for a solid all-around iPad, this is a great choice.

Great but flawed
It's an iPad so of course it's going to be great, but Apple really made some odd choices with this one. 6gb of ram instead of 8 means no Apple Intelligence and will age poorer.Their Apple Pencil compatibility is very strange. If you want to use this iPad with a pressure sensitive Apple Pencil you must get the Apple Pencil 1 and the USB C adapter they sell for the pencil. You cannot use the Apple Pencil 2 or Apple Pencil Pro - they do no support it. The USB C Apple Pencil will work, but does not have pressure sensitivity. All around great product for the price, but does make me wonder if I would be better off buying an Air instead.

Cute IPad!
Received earlier than expected! Nice pink color and its size it’s just right! It works great and its design is the same as the last one, but not that hard to use. The quality is great and it came with no scratches! This is a new ipad but the battery life is stable and good!
