USMLE Step 2 CK Lecture Notes 2017: Obstetrics and Gynecology
M**O
High yield material
Ok, so last year a read Toronto Notes for the MCCEE and this year I'm reading Kaplan Lecture notes USMLE Step 2, I can compare both book easily since the have high yield material, difference bt them is that Toronto notes uses a bullet approach as in Kaplan uses a paragraph and diagram approach, I find it easier to read and make flashcards out of it, also explains some subjects with higher attention to physiology making it easier to correlate. about 5/8 corresponds to OB as the rest to GYN.
C**.
Now in its digital form, the best high-yield book, in my opinion.
Yes, I am a medical doctor from Brazil, and even though I am a foreign medical doctor, I can tell you that the Kaplan medical Books... well, it makes us just one under the sun, as it is available for everyone to buy, for everyone to see, that medicine is just one, no matter where you go, so I would say, that a cell, is a cell, and it is a cell....Now we can read it anywhere, on an iPad or an iPhone what's new, or what's trending, new medical terms, Terminology, treatments; diagnoses; and signs and symptoms of diseases. Kaplan Medical books, have helped me a great deal since I bought. I love high-yield books, therefore, the medical Kaplan Books - as they say "The Kaplan notes" are just what I need, to give me sufficient up-to-date information on all kinds of diseases, ex: internal medicine, ob/gyn, surgery...etc.Even though I'm currently a practicing ophthalmologist these days, I still read the Kaplan notes to keep me up-to-date, with everything that there is to know about other current medical fields, just in occasion of wanting to help a friend with a disease or reasearch something for myself, I don't always trust other doctors with their diagnoses sometimes it's pure mercenary medicine these days. I am: Cláudio A.G.Monteiro Filho, from Recife in Brazil, South America.
