The product does not contain added MSG. However, glutamic acid, which is the parent compound of the sodium salt known as monosodium glutamate, naturally occurs as a component of soy sauce.

Q: What is the country of origin?

Mine is from China made by Ajishima Foods co. LTD. There is a problem with inconsistent labelling/product with this item. Mine has several chemicals such as disodium succinate and disodium ribonucleotide.

Q: does this product have MSG?

Yes. MSG is in a lot of Japanese condiments and sauces. which is why they are so tasty. umami!!
