I had to grind and file the point to get them to work correctly, typical Chinese item you have to finish building it for them

The pointed hook would not engage into the slot or the clip of the weight. It is not sharp enough to hang onto the slot. It keeps on slipping out. Useless POS. I ended up using the flat head screwdriver and hammer to snap it out from the rim. Would have returned it but I can not find the package it came in. I chose the cheapest one in Amazon since they all look alike. Should have spent little more for better quality plier. It was a mistake. Don't waste your money.

It seems to work. We balanced 6 tires and added wheel weights with it.

Works as it should

As you can see by the pictures it pulls a weight and hammers back on properly. The only downfall is the cutting edge has a largish gap ( Picture 3 ) that from experience tells me it will not trim weights very well. Apart from that I'm happy
