Melora Manuka Honey UMF 5+

While expensive it is the Melora brand. I use this every day on my tea, as well as any ailment I might have (eczema, redness) I even had this pimple like abrasion due to a piercing allergy (helix piercing on my ear) and it dried the pimple out and disappeared in less than three days). When I feel the cold coming on or the slightest bit of sore throat I take a small spoonful and it ails my aching throat, and I feel better the next day. I consider this the holy grail of honey. Raw in its purest form, thick in consistency, the taste is a bit muted and less sugary but strong. For the price point this is very expensive and I have found a bigger bottle at Costco for a much lower price if you count how many ounces they include.. this was a temporary purchase, but if Costco discontinues Melora I will purchase again here on Amazon.

The price is not that impressive compared to other brands. I bought this because I bought one from Costco with a larger size.

I ordered two jars-ate 1 jar and used the gave the other jar to a friend.

Odd flavor, but it grows on you. I now prefer it to the sweet US honey. Bought 4 jars of this from Costco when they used to sell it. I had the immune system of a child...always sick, but couldn't take the flu shot. A singer from NZ recommended Manuka. When I saw the price, I blanched. Costco had it on sale, and though the +5 was considered iffy, I bought it. Went through 3 huge jars, am now on my 4th, and haven't had more than a weak cold since starting with it. We'll see if it brings me through Coronavirus intact. Love this stuff. Costco, please bring it back!

Melora brand Manuka from Costco wasn't effective on bronchitis. It could be that it's only UMF 5+, so I can't blame the brand itself, but I recommend something with 15+ rating for medicinal purposes.
