These gloves are too thick to do much of anything around the house unless you are doing some HEAVY DUTY cleaning with harsh chemicals. Unless you need that, a thinner version works much better to keep your hands and nails protected. (Plus ...their shipping charges are literally as much as the gloves themselves!)

These gloves are recommended by my fingernail doctor (M.D.) practicing at Stanford Clinic in California. They are great because good finger/hand protection, breathable, and easy to wear and take off.
