fortunately, Amazon has a search order history feature and ...
Just received and assembled today.CONS:1. zero instructions. fortunately, Amazon has a search order history feature and I was able to retrieve the product pictures to assemble.2. packing of the small parts (bolts, nuts, etc.) was loose. At some time in the shipping (?) process, a hole got punched into the box so until I finally assembled the chair, I wasn't sure if I had all the necessary parts.3. it's heavy.4. After it's assembled, if you want to store it away until your next star-gazing session, you will need to find a Phillips screwdriver and a small sized wrench to unbolt the back end from the chair-back and remove the seat so that the frame will fold flat. Space is at a premium where I live, so this is a bummer.PROS:1. sturdy, well made.2. totally adjustable seat.BEST USE: permanent type viewing spot.-- I can't see myself lugging this (too heavy) up a trail in the dark and then fiddling around with bolts & etc to put it together.-- It's a good product but my mistake is that I didn't pay closer attention to the weight and how the seat works.

Seat adjusts great, but hard to transport.
Seems sturdy and well-built, but with a couple of design flaws:1. Front legs under seat are not spread flat like rear legs, lowering stability on uneven ground and allowing legs to sink into soft ground.2. Unit must be disassembled to be folded completely, otherwise seat still protrudes. A upward-folding seat hinge would have been great, or even a quick-release on bottom brace (instead of a screw) would work, but then you still have the seat as a separate item to carry or store.Works fine if you have a hard floor in a permanent observing site where you can leave it set up. But if you use it for observing out in the country it is less than satisfactory for stability and travel compactness. Close, but no cigar.

Solomark Astronomy Viewing Chair
Zero instructions, loose hardware. I had to view the Amazon stock photo to figure out assembly. You will have to remove seat & two bolts & cap nuts to fold the chair. That is a bummer.Pro'sThe chair is very comfortable, well built. I would purchase it again "YES"It will take about 6 to 8 minutes to assemble.
