Outdoor operation for over a year
These two have run outdoors in an enclosure as part of an irrigation pump controller for almost two years now and still perform as expected.

Work's better than expected
The reason I got this was to have a predictable delay after a momentary trigger event. My earlier solution had a variable endless pot which produced mixed results. The bad thing about this unit, is no documentation except on this buying Amazon page and reviews. Anyhow it was not that complicated after all. He are some tips,K1 button: used to set modes P1,P2 and P3. I used the default P1 since it met my needs. Press for 2 secs.K2 button: To move the blinking digit (think of it a the digit place your are setting). Also is the SET functionK3 button: To increase or decrease the value of the delay. If you do not see a decimal point then you are looking seconds for the delayTo trigger I tried a momentary 5 vdc and also 12vdc and worked fine. If you keep the trigger on past the programmed time the relay will release when the timer runs out.I hope this helps someone else. Definitely worth every penny.

Works great for my project
Seems to work great after I figured out how to program it. I am using it for a timer on an led light. It was like a puzzle figuring out how to use it since the directions are almost useless. I would have given it 5 stars if it had readable directions.

Very versatile, takes a while to figure out how to set the delay time(s)
Well built board with digital display. My use is to have a relay activated for T time after a momentary trigger. The relay can either have something turned on or off for that T time. Once you figure out how to set the delay time, the relay works extremely well. The relay has 4 modes: the first (called P1) is the one that I describe above. I can envision uses for the other modes, but have not experimented with them. Here are some hints for setting up the time: If the display shows a decimal point, the indicated time is in MINUTES. If no decimal point is showing, the time is in SECONDS. That is, there is a huge difference between 123 no decimal point and 123 with a decimal point. To change the position of the decimal point or to remove it, make sure none of the digits is flashing, then press the 3rd button repeatedly until the decimal (or lack of one) is where you want it.There is more involved to setting delay time, but the points above were the trickiest for me.

Timing is everything
This is a great timer, very versatile, with so many potential applications. In my case I needed to safely shut down a raspberry pi in the car with a 12-volt system. With a circuit diagram from openauto forums using this timer, 2 diodes and a few wires with the p-4 setting on the timer, I'm able to send a shutdown script through an optocoupler, then the timer counts down to 0, and cuts all power to the raspberry pi. Turning on the key again resets the timer, and powers on the power adapter, powering the raspberry pi, starting the process over. The timer arrived fast, well packaged, no issues. I would recommend.

Tricky at first
Tricky at first but once you get the catch of it all falls into place. I used this for 12v solenoid valves

20 times better than the morse code models!!!
For the price this little unit cannot be beat. It's a simple task, just delaying a trigger... it shouldn't take more than a minute to program. This sucker takes less than 20 seconds. Easy to wrap your head around it and get the job done. Didn't even have to look at the instructions... which by the way did not come with the product but obviously could be found elsewhere. 5 stars for 5 bucks!!
