I'm a huge fan of Earl Grey and was drinking a now-defunct tea chain's Earl Grey for many years. When I was about to finish the very last bag of my favorite tea, I had to find a replacement fast. I read all of the reviews of Heavenly Tea Leaves' and decided to give it a try. I knew it was risky because it's a huge bag (one pound!) and the thought of what if I don't like it? kept circling in my head. Well, I went ahead and ordered it. The item was delivered relatively quickly and when I opened the bag, the aroma was very close to my old favorite. It has a pleasant citrus scent but not too strong. The flavor was also very close to my old favorite - in fact I may like this one better now that I've been drinking it everyday for a little over a month. So, over all, I highly recommend this tea, especially for those who were lost when our beloved tea chain closed its shop. Last but not least, thank you to those reviewers who really helped me decide to make this purchase. Hopefully, I'm paying it forward!

I gave this as a birthday present gift. My friend said she had four cups of tea when she tried it.

I have a favorite tea that I drink just about every day, but I wanted to see if I could find something a bit less expensive. This blend (Berry Black) is fantastic. I can taste virtually no difference between this brand and the (far more expensive) brand I have been brewing. Fresh tea leaves, with plenty of flowers/herbs/whatnot, and I am able to get two nice teapots out of one basket of tea. I will be happy to try other blends from this manufacturer.

Compared to the other Brands that I had the flavor is fine. But there are quite a few twigs apart from the leaves in the tea bag. The packaging that is done is not a quality packaging. The zip lock on one side has come out and there is no proper sealing that was present for the packet when we received. Not sure if this has caused any issues with the flavor and quality. All in all at the price that it was purchased I would say this is kind fine one but not the best one.

I was a little nervous spending so much in one go online on tea, on a brand I've never tried before...but it turns out it was worth the investment. This tea is delicious. I haven't been able to invest in Silver Needle for years and have been drinking white on occasion. This tea reminds me why I loved the Silver Needle so much in the past. Definitely quality, I am very pleased with my purchase.

I love tea, really love it and Assam is my morning favorite. It is the second thing that goes into my body, after a large glass of water, and this Assam is by far superior to the many other loose-leaf brands I purchased through Amazon. It is a bit pricey, but you get whole leaves, not dust and the fragrance, oh floral notes, so subtle, just a hint, like the leaf picker ran the leaves over a flowering bush - essence, that is the word for which I was looking.I will drink Assam any time of the day; but luckily, Heavenly Tea makes so many black teas that I branch out in the late morning and again in the afternoon. Do not forget to take a look at their ginormous tea selection. Every type of tea I have ordered from Heavenly Tea has been spot on.

I tried this first in a sampler and I loved the passion fruit flavor. I decided to blend it with a black tea to make iced tea and I was hooked. I ordered the full-pound package, which turned out to be fresh so it was even better than the sample. I've been using it in iced tea all summer. It's so good that it helped me kick the cola habit.
