Despite slightly misleading illustration and label, hopeful it still serves its intended purpose.
As others have mentioned, this arrived in a granulated form, not fine powder as illustration reflects on product description. Comparison to other competing products which show "granulated course" one would believe the illustration combined with NOT specifying as course, would be a more fine powder. I have not yet opened or used the product but I plan to keep it, place quantity in bagging and roll with rolling pin or crush in bowl to create a powder. Gave it 4 stars for the discrepancy. Inconvenient, slightly misleading by illustration and omission but a solution can be realized. Hoping reported benefits outweigh this difference.

Impure and bad quality
The texture is inconsistent there’s normal salt looking pieces and then there’s just pure dust. It’s also impure. When making a solution it was very milky, I had to let it sit so that the dust can settle in the bottom. Set my project behind days.

For me just the fact that I found this on Amazon
I used this product with a combination of camphor squares in water to gargle with for sore throat or if have pimple on tongue it help to take pain and shrink it. A remedy I was taught by my mom. Alum is very tart and it helps to shrink the sore away. I used a little less than a half teaspoon in a Mason jar of water. Very tart so I always add little more water in a cup if I am going to use. I forgot what the camphor does. I know it works as I suffered a lot with sore throat growing up.

Mixed Media
I don’t use this for cooking, I use it for my art. Works wonderfully, so I am sure that it will work for cooking purposes.
