Good Meds If It's Early On.
Works well if you catch the malawi bloat early. If it's progressed where you can see the stomach swollen then it's probably too late. Once you notice the fish not eating, use the metro right away. If the fish is big enough I usually use a baby syringe with 1.5-2" tube line attached to it and force feed the medication down its throat to the stomach.

Miracle worker!
I don't know what my fish had. Just knew they were sick by the fact that they were laying on their side at the bottom of the tank. Used this every other day after a 50% water change. Mixed with seachum focus. After an evening things looked better, after a week back to normal.

Saved my fish!
I wish I knew about this sooner. It would've saved my previous fish.I have two fish with fin rot and one of them is completely healed! The other one is slowly getting so much better after about two weeks of using it. I'm beyond happy.

Really works.
This medication is great for ich. I got some new fish at the pet store and they were covered with white spots. In three days they were clear after using this. I have tried a lot of ich cures but nothing works like this.

Good product
I have used this as a premature aid for my fish. When l added new fish to my aquarium. I have never had a problem with it's safeness. I do use garlic and seachem bonding agent to feed it to my fish as l can imagine it's not great tasting to my fish lol but using garlic and waiting to feed them for a day helps them eat it. I have also used it on sick fish through out the years and it works great.

Super easy to use and very effective, just takes a little prep time.
I use this product in conjunction with Seachem ParaGuard to treat all new fish I receive into my fish room. What I find works best for me is doing a 30%ish water change around 4;00 pm. Around 5:30 I prepare my Metroplex food. gather about what you would normally feed your fish into a small bowl. In my case, I use a frozen cube of bloodworms, small pinch of flakes and about 1-2 ml to the bowl and of course one serving of Metroplex. I wait until everything melts, and I stir occasionally. about 6:00 pm I feed my fish the food. I have read stories of fish refusing to eat food with metroplex, so some people recommend GarlicGuard and Unity. Garlic guard makes the food all but irresistible to the fish, and unity, binds the medication to the food so it does not escape into the water column. None of my fish have ever rejected the food with metroplex without any other additives, and they tend to inhale it so quickly that a vast majority of the medication is ingested by fish, so I don't need Unity or GarlicGuard unless my fish is refusing all food, medicated or not.

Must have in your aquarium medicine cabinet
I keep metronidazole on hand at all times for my saltwater aquariums. Always use this in quarantine and have even dosed in the display when I suspected flukes with no harm to corals or inverts.
