I just received my castor oil, so this review is not about the product's efficacy. I bought this oil to promote hair growth, and I will update my review after I have been using it for a few months.The castor oil arrived in an amber plastic bottle. It had a plastic stopper inside to prevent any leaks.The oil is odorless! I am extremely sensitive to odors, and I have read that castor oil can have an unpleasant smell, so I wasn't sure if I would be able to use this, but it is odor-free! I'm very pleased!! (I have also read that castor oil can develop an odor as it begins to age, so to prolong its shelf-life, I will be keeping it in a cool, dark cupboard.)So far, I am pleased with my purchase- no leaks, no odor!! =)I'll update with my experience of using this oil in a few months. =)EDIT - 02/01/2018 - Sad to say, using this castor oil on my scalp did not help new hair to grow in the spots where I have lost hair. I didn't notice my hair feeling thicker or more lustrous or any of the wonderful results for which I'd been hoping.I'm now using a biotin shampoo and taking a biotin supplement. I began both in October. It helped immensely in the first couple of months! I saw new growth within a few weeks. After another bout of illness and intense stress, I lost lots more hair, and now the biotin doesn't seem to be helping either. ☹️ Wish I could find an answer. I've looked into Viviscal, but it's expensive, and the ingredients are off-putting to me.A lot of the reviewers here had great results with this castor oil. I wish I had!I warmed the oil gently in a tiny beaker on a candle warmer, massaged it into my scalp, and didn't wash it out until morning. Yuck. Messy and inconvenient. However, a little mess and inconvenience would be a small enough price to pay to have real results!Although this oil didn't work for me, the price is low enough to be a worthy experiment if you, like me, need your hair to re-grow!If anyone has an answer; something with which you've had true success, I'd really appreciate it if you'd leave me a comment here!! I liked the fact that it is very thick and looked like it is natural to me. It is my first time to purchase this product and I will wait and see if indeed it does what it is supposed to do.

I absolutely love this castor oil! I bought it because I did some research on hair, skin and nails and found that castor oil has some very healthy effects. I read that cold pressed and unrefined brings the most desirable results. I have been using it for about 2 weeks now. I first made a hair "mask" with blended aloe plant flesh and castor oil and applied it to my hair and then rubbed my hands on my face and let it soak in. I washed the mixture out of my hair quit easily (I think the aloe made a huge difference in allowing it to wash out easier). I only did the hair mask once so far but will be doing it again for sure. My face absorbed and soaked in what I smeared and rubbed in. I have to say my hair felt amazing and very hydrated and my skin, like a baby! I use a drip on my finger tips and smear on my face and neck every morning. I see a difference in the smoothing of my crows feet and WOW my nails are growing like weeds!! I'm super excited about continuing this regimen and have gotten my husband on board with the facial application. I highly recommend trying this product for yourself!!!

At first I doubt it coz I don't try it before,but my hair fall is getting worst and worst everyday, and I want to regrow my hair in the faith of this castor oil. So I gamble it,hoping this one can help me. All I do is try and don't ever think it would deliver here in Philippines.It takes atleast one week at the most, but hey it's fast for me knowing im from overseas.To make it short I love the consistency of the oil the bottle is big enough worth of 💵 you paid. Yes it's thick but I mix it with sweet almond oil,before I applied it but so far it didn't bother me at all. I recommend this product which it helps me especially I have this problem with my hair but hey have faith and patience sometimes, don't focus on hair fall or damage focus on the outcome!. This is a very thick oil, and i love it.I use it for my daughters 4c hair and it works wonders like a braid aid. It slicks her hair down like no other.I do reccomend this for retaining moisture for natural hair.

I v been using Castor oil for a long time. This one is very liquidish. Not think as it's supposed to be. It's very strange. Because natural with no additional stuff in it is thick and not always easy to spread it out.
