I use them for my hands when I have problems with my fingers and they work really well.

My essential tremor has worsened. It is embarrassing to drop food off of my fork at meals out. The extra oomph of a fat handle helps. I carry a 3.5 in piece of the red and blue sizes in my purse for eating out. I feel much less self-conscious using an aid than I do dropping food onto the table.These are comfortable in my hand, and the two larger holes fit around most utensil shapes.The cost is well worth the self-confidence it gives me. And hopefully others will see that there’s no shame in using aids to improve one’s quality of life.One other important point. My wife has a latex allergy and I was worried these might have latex. I contacted the company and they told me they are latex free. If they truly are, I suggest the company put that on the box. (So far, she hasn’t reacted when I use mine, but that is an important factor. Please confirm for others.)

Overall great, happy with red and blue. The tan one only seems good for literally a wood pencil. Could use a bigger one still, instead of the tiny tan one.

My hands are very sensitive from hand foot syndrome. It hurts to hold any utensil with thin edges. I use the red tube cut to size over my fork and spoon. Just be aware of the width of your handles. Mine flare out at the end so I'm using flatware I have in my camping gear that is more narrow at the end. I tried the blue tube to accommodate the flared end, but there was too much difference between the neck of the fork and the flared out end, so the fork wobbled inside the tube. With a good fit, these are great. A lifesaver for my hands. I like the variety pack because I had no idea what was going to work the best. And the price was very reasonable. I'm sure I'll find a use for all of them.

Ordered these because I only have one hand right now. I was going to return them because I don't have the strength or use of My other hand to get the things I needed to go through the holes. Ah! A friend of mine had a fantastic idea of using Vaseline 💡 on My pens, razor, toothbrush etc. And, I was able to use them. There are less expensive brands, but I thought the size of the holes would be different from the less expensive ones but they are the same. I haven't found anything to use the smallest one for yet. But, the smallest might work for a thin paint brush for artistic purposes. They do help with holding spoons, forks and knives but Vaseline is a must have!

The tubing works as advertised. I have used it primarily for forks and spoons since I have issues with arthritis and the utensils were hurting my fingers and hands. I was glad to find a set that had multiple sizes in the same package. I will try out the pen and pencil smaller size soon.

UPDATE: My apologies! Apparently I only unpacked 2 sizes and placed the bag containing other sizes elsewhere. Totally my fault! I’m so sorry for giving a poor review. I found the bag with the other sizes and all is well. I’m still using the other tubing as it holds up well through regular use and washing.Old review;I was a bit disappointed in that I had to cut both horizontal and vertical to make 2 of these work for the average USA toothbrush and 3 vastly different size sets of silverware I tried. This seems extreme to save $2 or 3 dollars from competitors offering more size.

I got these for my mom who is having difficulty holding on to some utensils. They are easily cut down and the differently hole sizes in the centers are great for items with different thicknesses. The clean up well and air dry quickly. If she needs more I will certainly be buying them again.
