I've been using Eneloop batteries for many years, they are consistently good performers. This charger is compact and easy to use. It is excellent that the packaging is plastic-free but the sticky label holding the batteries in is not "peelable". When I removed it there was a horrible sticky mess left on the charger and batteries, I had to resort to "sticky stuff remover" to get rid of it. It's great that the batteries are charged by solar power when made, but mine must have been made on a cloudy day, they took a long time to charge when I received them.

These are great batteries. Long lasting. You can trust them for important use. I use them in radio microphones on events, Charger is great. A charger version with 8 or 16 bays would be nice.

These are awful and terribly overpriced for what they are.I bought these as they're the best on every website's review list, and they're 'reassuringly expensive'. Panasonic positon Eneloop Pros as the best in the market. They even specifically say for things like RC cars and toys with motors (which typically eat batteries). It's the latter in particular I was buying them for.Imagine my surprise when I charged them up (they came mostly fully charged, but I topped them up as recommended), put them in a toy, and the toy did not move. A half-empty standards AA makes this toy move slowly, but these Eneloop Pros, at full charge, couldn't get it moving. Absolutely diabolical.Huge waste of money. I'll use these around the house in bits and bobs, but for that purpose I'd have bought some much cheaper ones.What I liked: the charger was quite good, with the LEDs that tell you charging status, and the whole branding is nice and sleek and modern.... but none of that is much good if they don't actually power the thing you're putting them in!!!Honestly if it wasn't such a faff sending stuff back to Amazon I'd be getting a refund. I genuinely feel conned: it's not like they didn't last very long: the toy I put them in didn't move at all. They're unfit for anything beyond a TV remote control.

Neater than my previous Panasonic charger that required a USB charger and lead. This plugs directly into mains socket which takes up less space. Quite pricy but appears to be a quality item and I believe worth the money especially as it included four batteries.
