Would not not buy another
I own a few a few of these devices, and each time I’ve purchased them to the same company. Very happy with them works very well. Does what it says to for the most part, there are certain parts of the function alley they don’t always work in a car. But that’s to be expected when you’re working with higher end imports they don’t always allow all the same devices for I’m sure Kodak reasons or other functionality purposes. Otherwise, I have yet to find something that I wasn’t able to find a work around with or that they weren’t able to do what I needed him to. But for a basic diagnostic tool, definitely hits the mark for some of the restarts of system air default codes. They seem to work pretty good. Just be careful of any major critical like Limp mode. It seems to have some troubles in clearing those codes 100% even if you’ve gone through all the necessary procedures by the manufacturer to remove the code yet still needs a tool to do with the rest of what’s needed on the backside for the car’s computer.

Complete disapointment
After reading their website and the claims here I bought this unit instead of an Autel, and I will be returning it as soon as I finish this review. They claim that this unit will "write a vin" / program TPMS / program key fobs etc. and it won't.2001 Honda Accord - Cannot communicate with IMMO / Security system (it has one). SRS returned unknown code, unable to clear codes (that could be a module failure, but given other issues I'm not convinced of that)2005 Hyundai - cannot communicate with IMMO / Security system (it also has one), so cannot add new key fob. There was one other system that the car has and it couldn't communicate with (don't remember which one though).2018 Ford Focus (reason for buying the scanner) - cannot write VIN, cannot clone ECU, can force a internal system reset for used ECU but will not copy "secret keys" (so new ECU is worthless), cannot access IMMO, can read TPMS but not reset, relearn, etc. The only thing it really did on this car was dump NVM so I could see what started the cascade failure.Overall the unit does NOT do what they claim - at least on common cars, I'm guessing they have targeted an audience for the unit and it may work fine for them; but for a small shop it is a total failure. As a side not the Autel system that is almost the same price will do all these things except the IMMO (key programming).

Best Bang for the Buck
This is my Go To Scanner. I have the OTTO-FIX D1PRO and I use the Foxwell NT1009 more often. I love the LCD, the updates have made this scanner more responsive and the amount of cars and features that I can access on Acura's, Toyota's, Honda's, Volvo's, Chevy's, Dodge's, Chrysler's, Hyundai's, Nissan's and many more are more than adequate to complete any job. The company is actively updating this tool and the dongle. I believe the main diagnostics software is Autel and the interface is Foxwells customer interface which I like better since it feels more responsive and is much quicker than the OTTO-FIX D1PRO. I would definitely buy again instead of the OTTO-FIX D1PRO!

It's ok but.....
It work BUT, It still didn't clear all items It said it would do and for some reason u had to download some programs for some cars that should already be in it, The other thing is why only 3 years why not lifetime, others do it. Other than that I would give it an 6.5-7 out of 10.

Very good investment
If you work on your own vehicles or are a mechanic by trade this is one of the best investments a person can make. Takes 99% of the guess work out of working on vehicles and will do everything that 5000 dollar snap ** will do. Highly recommend

Not worth it, couldn't read VIN correctly on 2015 GMC
When I went to scan a 2015 GMC 2500 it did scan the Vin, however it asked which engine, transmission, and a few other things the truck had before proceeding to scan, that's complete BS because I have a 50$ code reader that scans the VIN on everything fine. I ended up getting an xtool d9pro for under a grand that blows this thing out the water in both speed and functionality, I even have done ADAS racal's with the xtool..
