I have a number of wooden massage tools (many along the lines of Maderoterapia massage implements), and this actually surpassed my expectations. Though it may be relatively simple in design, the quality of bamboo coupled with expert crafting makes this a wonderful massage tool. It can be used for deep tissue massage, to address trigger points and relieve muscle knots and aches. Additionally, the broad side can be used as a roller for larger muscle groups.Inspection of the two bamboo sticks revealed no defects or rough spots. It’s consistently smooth and polished, which indicates high quality control during manufacture. The bamboo sticks are identical in size, too. I’ve encountered wooden massage sets, where paired tools are different lengths. Of course I prefer uniformity and consistency with paired massage tools. So, this aspect gets a favorable nod.I like the natural/organic visual appeal of the bamboo. Beyond the appearance, bamboo should be very durable and resilient, affording long term usage. While they state it can be used in warm or cooled instances, I think I would only use it slightly warmed or just at ambient room temperature (allowing the massage process to warm it in accord with body temperature and massage action).Unfortunately, the two bamboo sticks do not come in a case. Luckily, I do have a suitable drawstring pouch, felt material, that can house these attractive massage tools. Since a case/pouch was not mentioned as being part of the product offering, this aspect does not affect the rating. But, if you appreciate the appearance and quality, you’ll be like me and store them in an appropriate housing.Attached are photos to show real world images, with a ruler for size reference.Very content and satisfied with the design and craftsmanship of the bamboo massage sticks. It perfectly matches the images and descriptions in the product details. A quality product that merits a 4.75+ star rating, with a very high level recommendation.

I use a foam roller during warm ups and cool downs from work outs. I wanted something smaller than my current large foam roller so that I could target specific muscles, specifically when laying on my side rolling out my lats. These are probably not designed for that specific movement, but I wanted to give them a try. I was thinking they would be a little wider than they are. They are well made, have a good smooth polished finish on them, with well-rounded tips and seem indestructible overall. Just over six inches long and 3.75 inches in circumference. Very nice stick set, just check sizing to make sure they meet your needs.

This is a review of Goodtar 2 PCS Solid Bamboo Massage Sticks. I like these even more than I expected to. My house is full of massage and trigger-point therapy devices. Most of them are useful. But all of them are ugly plastic. These not only serve different massage needs, but they are so aesthetically pleasing. The length is good — long enough to cover an area but not so big as to be unwieldy and awkward. The ends can reach smaller areas and trigger points. These massage sticks are very smooth (no worries about splinters). They are also lightweight, which means they can easily travel with me. Thank you Goodtar, for offering a massage product that is so useful and so lovely.

Difficult for a beginner to understand how much pressure and where to use. Solid and durable materials.

I've used bamboo sticks for years and decided to try the Goodtar Solid Bamboo Massage Sticks. The bamboo sticks (2 pieces) are lightweight and are light in color. They are smooth and have no rough edges. They are slightly longer than my other bamboo sticks I have. The ends are smooth and rounded for specific work. Bamboo sticks take a little longer to heat than stones and the heat doesn't last as long but they provide a nice relaxing massage and deep tissue massage depending on your clients needs. I don't have a hard time handling heated bamboo sticks like I do stones. Bamboo sticks are easy to use and can save your hands. I've used bamboo sticks on professional athletes and clients looking for relaxing therapeutic massage. These bamboo sticks will be really nice to use.

Good massage tool

I've recently seen sticks like this set from Goodtar in massage videos, somwas interested when coming across them in trying them myself!They oil up well, and are on the shorter side as sticks like these go; the thickness is good - not too narrow as to penetrate uncomfortably, and not too thick to easily hold. They roll easily and need little to no warming at all. The ends of the bamboo are well rounded as well with no cracks or openings.For the price, these are a great tool to add to warm, rolling massages - or even with percussion such as a mallet to reach and release deeper knots. I'd definitely recommend giving them a try!
