I need a replacement for my old one and I’m very pleased with this one. It helps with my muscle soreness. I like the múltiple selection of modes.

It cost almost the same as a visit
It cost almost the same as a visit to the therapist office. I paid close attention to what they were doing after pricing this unit and realized I could have bought a couple of them for myself to use at will. I must say so far so good. Considering it's a 4 channel unit and you need 2 pads per channel, more than 4 pads would be nice.

Weirs feeling but worth the sensation
My first time using this kinda machine and it was soooo weird but I really like it. It takes some getting used to to get the settings down and to find the right place on your body. The sticky pads aren't the best but if you Google where the best place is to put them, you'll save a bunch of time from putting, trying, repositioning then trying again. I love this on my back and legs after a long run. I'm sure I'll get irritated when I have to replace the pads though.

Featureful unit at a good price
I've never used a TEMS unit before and have always been a bit skeptical of them, but I decided to give this one a try because of its reasonable price point and the fact that my golfers elbow has been annoying me for a few months now. Fatefully, my thighs were also sore for some reason the day this device arrived.I've only used it a few times so far, but I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected I would and particularly my elbow did seem to feel a little better in the end. I would definitely recommend reading through the manual once before using it because there are a lot of different pulse patterns available (24 in all I think) and the booklet gives examples of what each is good at addressing. The product comes with a few different size patches which adhere to your skin with a sticky gel kind of layer. You can reuse them several times, but I imagine eventually they'll loose their tackiness and need to be replaced. A replacement set of 20 new patches looks to run about $12 currently, which isn't too bad. The patches this uses are the snap on style similar to how you would attach electrical probes in a hospital, as opposed to the DC barrel connection I've seen on some. I think this is a better way to do it, personally. The ones using the barrel connections end up having to have a wire and connecter hanging off of each patch whereas these merely have a small metal snap button, which seems less wasteful and cheaper to produce in the long run.You use two pads per channel and it supports driving up to four simultaneous channels, so you'll utilize at most 8 pads at any one time. Each channel can be programmed to a unique mode, so you can address multiple issues/pains/areas at once. The unit itself has a built in USB-C rechargeable battery which is convenient. You might be covered in wires for your TEMS/EMS pads, but at least you won't be tethered to the wall. You can also program the duration, though it's a single countdown for all of the channels at the same time. It can be set between 10 and 80 minutes in duration, in increments of 10 minutes. I was a little afraid of what it might feel like or how hard it might engage my muscles at first, but was pleased to find it starts at 0 power on all 4 channels and then you adjust them manually one at a time to get the proper response which can be unique depending on the size of muscle and type of stimulation it's using. I don't think I've had to go even as high as half of full power on any channel, even for my larger thigh muscles, to achieve a comfortable stimulation.I do wish it was a little quicker to setup and use as I would be inclined to use it more frequently than I have been, but there's no real getting around that. And it would be real nice and save a lot of setup time if the screen was touch reactive because the way it is now you have to click mode or channel etc to cycle through the modes/channels before landing on the one you want to actually adjust. It reminds me a bit of the old T9 text typing. But, for the price point I can't complain as I'm sure a touchscreen would easily double the price. All in all, I'm really enjoying this device and can see how it could be a little bit addicting and so now I just hope the internal battery and device as whole last several years.

The pads that come with don’t stick
I like the tens unit itself, but the pads that you use to stick on your skin lose their tackiness way too quickly. I only got this 2 days ago and the small and medium pads already won’t stick. I’m really disappointed because when it worked, I did like it.
