Really nice USB port
This is one of a few ports that includes a USB-C port for data transfer. Most have a USB-C port for power transfer only. The ports are a bit stiff on flash drives but I’m thinking as they get used they will loosen up a bit. Another major positive is the longer than most cable. Most USB ports have a very short cable. The cable on this unit was plenty long enough to reach behind my iMac.

All ports on it work as advertised.
Works great with my iMac and iPad. I have transferred photos from a card to the iPad and used the HDMI to watch movies from the iPad to the television in our RV. I wish I had ordered the longer cable, but this works.

I wish I had discovered this product years ago
My PC only has one USB port, so I have always had to disconnect the mouse and to use an SD card reader. I now can use my SD card, my mouse, and an external hard drive at the same time. It is not only a great time saver, but a versatile tool that is worth the cost. Working with various media/connections is a now an easy and efficient process.

Works as well as powered hubs for music production
Update June 4, 2025: From 1 star to four starsAfter my review below I tried two other powered USB hubs. One did not work for my purpose described below, and the other performed just like this one, that is, it worked OK as long as I used the hub for the audio interface and laptop power, though it still complained that the power was low. I have since been told that my Dell XPS will issue that complaint because it has proprietary delivery. In either case, the battery stays well charged. So, I was hasty in dismissing this USB hub. It works as well or better than the other hubs I've tried since.Original review:This USB hub might be great for things like keyboards and mice, but I needed it to work with music production. I need to connect an audio interface (USB-A), an iLok license dongle (USB-C), and music samples on an SSD (USB-C). Since my Dell XPS has only three USB-C connectors, one of which is for power, I do need a USB hub. After a few weeks of misery, I discovered that if the SSD of music samples was plugged into this hub, the whole system would crash when I was running any Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). (For some reason it did not crash if I were running the stand-alone player, but piano notes would cut out occasionally.) Moving the SSD to a connector on the PC meant that I had to run power through this hub to the PC. My PC complained that the power was so low that I might observe a performance hit, but it did run. To free up a port for power, I tried plugging the iLok dongle into this hub, but then the sound from the music samples would halt after a few minutes.Bottom line is, I don't really know why this hub won't work with my music setup, but it does not. There is little consensus on the web about which hubs work best for music. I'll try a powered hub.

External USB Hard Drives Lose Connection On Reboot (REVISED)
This hub is perfect in nearly every way. Sharp looking design. Plenty of ports and connection types. I have one serious quibble with it that forces me to give it 3 stars instead of 5 and that is that external hard drives connected to the hub do not reconnect to my computer (a Mac Mini M4, in this case). Instead, the green light on the hub flashes until I unplug one of my external drives from it and then reconnect it. Then all of my external USB hard drives connect where none of them would before. I haven't found a fix or workaround to this issue. If I cannot, I'll likely have to look for another hub solution that doesn't have this issue. A huge miss for an otherwise outstanding product.UPDATE: After posting my initial review, the team at intpw reached out to me, expressing concern that I wasn't 100% satisfied with my purchase and saying they wanted to make it right. After working out with their technical leads that I was going to need a powered hub, I was appreciative and figured that would be the end of it. But it was not. The fine folks at intpw weren't satisfied with just diagnosing my problem. They took it another ten steps forward and offered to provide me with a powered hub that would meet my needs. Up until I actually received the hub from them, I was skeptical that they would actually follow through. But they did, and the replacement hub they sent me (moswl #B0DT6Z3R4F) works absolutely perfectly! No more stalled out external hard drives, even upon a reboot of my system. I couldn't be happier. It's refreshing in this day and age to encounter a company that stands by their products and values their customers so strongly and passionately. It's sadly a rarity anymore, but intpw does it with enthusiasm and sincerity and have made me customer for life. Thank you!

Nice little hub
This is perfect. It’s light, but somehow is fairly stationary. I got several chargers, a second monitor, connection doesn’t falter. Well worth for the price.

Expansion bonus
Great way to expand the USBC ports on my various Macs for a recording studio with multiple USB connected devices sleek and attractive even sitting on the desktop.
