Very good piece of kit. Does its job as described. That brush makes a world of difference.

This has been very good. Easy to apply and built in brush is a great idea. Read the instructions and follow them exactly and so far no sign of rust has returned. My car is 21 years old and this has helped it to look good on the bodywork again.

Worked a treat on our radiator pipe/ valve that had started to rust. Thickish grey liquid. Comes with a handy brush attached to the lid. Leaves a sheen finish. Haven’t tried painting over it.

Zep Rust Converter does exactly what it promises, neutralises rust fast and leaves a solid base for paint or sealant. The brush makes application easy and precise, though its watery consistency isn’t ideal for vertical surfaces. Still, it gets the job done and saves time on repairs. A reliable, no-fuss rust solution.

Followed the instructions and one coat did the job. Took a lot of shaking to mix it up and the brush is awful which is why I only gave 4 stars.

It partially did the trick but I needed something stronger.

I had a small cast iron bird bath that had gone rusty. I wire brushed it on the Saturday, it was hard to get in crevices on patterns so found Zep after reading what it does. Ordered..... arrived on the Sunday. very quick......... painted it and it was amazing. I was worried that it may go light purple to blue but it was a decent colour so I didn't have to paint over it. Price was ok too, small tub but the paint is thin and spreads well.I needed the bird bath to be protected from rusting as it always has water in it (obviously) so I will find out later how well it protects.

Good product but needs to be mixed as it was a bit stringy at first
