This is an excellent beginner yoyo for someone looking to just have a simple start into responsive yoyo play. it's a well known classic for a reason. While you aren't going to get many crazy intricate string tricks on this, it's very reliable, good at looping, and great for fixed axle responsive play. The thin gap really helps tone your accuracy in play, and overall, it's just really nice and easy to carry in your pocket for play anywhere, all in a fun purple color. Worth a grab for certain, should be in everyone's case at some point!

Ahhh Nostalgia!
I had a purple Duncan yoyo when I was 7. I saw this and had to have it. I used to be able to do old tricks like "walk the dog" and "around the world." I can still do them with this!

Good for beginners
Basic, but high quality. One complaint is that one side slid off and I couldn’t attach it again. The string is pretty good.
