I was so close to throwing away my Charge 5 which I've only had for little over a year. The snap off bands are the worst ideas I've ever seen coming from a company the size of FITBIT. Pulling my shirt over my wrist and snap on the ground... tucking in my shirt to my pants and SNAP, watch is on the ground. Working out just doing push ups and SNAP on the ground!! I got several official replacements from Fitbit and each one did the same thing. I was very pleasantly surprised when I found this product from the Fitbit community forums, since SO many Fitbit owners were complaining about the same issue. I HIGHLY recommend this and can't believe it took this company to come up with this and fix the problem that Fitbit still has never been able to.

This band worked like a charm, I was able to easily place my Fitbit Charge 5 into it after the old band had broken. It easy to do and feels more secure than the original band.

The good:*I'm very pleased that this band protects the edges of my tracker. I've destroyed two Fitbit Charge 5s in 18 months so another plan was necessary.*Because the edges are a higher it gives the screen some protection. So far, good.*It holds my tracker securely; I'm not concerned about losing it.The bad:*Others commented it was hard to tuck the end inside and thought they were just being whiney. Nope! It's so long that fastening, then tucking the end in, is a job for a contortionist. So I cut the end off. Too short, now I have to buy another band.*I can charge the tracker with the band on but it covers the sensors on the side so must be removed from the case l band for the EKG function.In-between:In case you're new to this kind of band; the dark colors work great and lighter hues stain easily and don't clean up, ever!
