This pair of candles arrive in a fairly decorative and sturdy cardboard box. Inside they sit in a foam bed with made to measure circular cut-outs for the candles. There is also an instruction booklet believe it or not! It just has safety instructions in several different languages. I think given the positive presentation that this set would make for a good gift idea.The candles themselves come in glass pots. At least I think it's glass! If it's plastic made to look like glass then they've done a good job of it! They have screw top metal lids. Definitely metal, of that one I'm sure!They're not the biggest, but you could always wish candles were bigger no matter what size they were - they're like chocolate in that regard! No but the small(ish) size is made up for I believe in the fact that the candles are strong smelling. This says to me that they're well made with high quality ingredients. Some candles look good but let you down in the fragrance department, these certainly don't disappoint in their performance.Of the two candles, "Rest Days" which is Rose & Sandalwood and "Wind Down" which is Sage, Sandalwood and Teakwood I would say that Wind Down is my favourite. This is the more masculine of the two I would say, but it smells like a Nordic Spa type smell. It is pine-y and quite reminds me of the brand Badedas, with which you might be familiar.I'm happy here and I see no reason why others wouldn't be similarly pleased with the candle set, whether you buy for yourself or as a gift for others it is indulgent all-round.

At 5cm in diameter, these are a small candle. Kind of next size up from a votive. A good choice for a bathroom or bedroom where you might not want to be burning your candle for long periods of time, and where you might not wish to spend the initial several hours waiting for the wax to burn across a raged candle to avoid tunnelling. The fragrances do indeed lend themselves to a relaxing night time vibe. I much preferred one to the other but both are pleasant albeit not especially strongly scented. Nice little glass jars, look quite tasteful although the box lets the side down a little in terms of gifting, albeit perfectly functional for shipping purposes.

Perfect little candles with a lovely scent that really fills the room after a while. I don't know if I would call them relaxing, but I enjoyed the smell.

These are beautiful soy wax candles made to relax you. They were beautifully and safely packaged. They smell lush, lasted a couple of full nights of sleep and really did have a relaxing scent, my favourite being Rose and sandalwood. Would make a beautiful gift.

I received these candles today and placed them in different rooms to relax. There is no scent that comes off them when they are lite, and very little when you open them initially!! I will not be purchasing again.

This would make a great gift for someone or just for personal use. The two scents are lovely without being overpowering and are so nice and relaxing. Great value for money.
