7/2/2025 : I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS! It has been ROCK SOLID for the past few months! I have not missed a single visitor or package! I was able to remove false notifications almost completely! And all for NO SUBSCRIPTION! Reolink are making some amazing devices! This is their newer style of NVR, and I highly recommend you doing your research, to figure out specifically what you need. This is definitely the future direction. I have one camera and one doorbell camera, and this has worked out perfectly so far, I have not felt a need to upgrade the hdd! Super snappy notifications. I recommend this system 2000%3/23/2025 : It was pretty easy to set up with the Reolink doorbell. I played with the options, quite pleased with the results. I do wish that (1) after 5 minutes of an event push notification, pressing the notification would take me to the event recording instead of the live view, (2) the iOS app would remember my filter preferences when I go to playback, otherwise I always have to set it (I almost always just care about people, not motion). Works solid on my network through LAN, and connects with doorbell through home wifi (I turned hub wifi off). Looking forward to setting up everything with poe, for more peace of mind. I can definitely recommend this as a great option for home camera security. The Reolink camera video and audio quality are excellent compared to other competitors!

Nice hub for my 10 cameras. 4 WI-FI and 6 POE. Not having to worry about SD cards in each camera is such a big bonus. It's great to have all the cameras recording constantly and not just when motion is detected. I put in an 8TB hard drive and it works perfect with the hub. The included 2TB is good but with the amount of cameras I'm running, it sucked up storage quickly. The included 2TB Toshiba drive is however, VERY quiet compared to the Seagate I replaced it with.Set up of the hub was ridiculously easy. The app runs very smoothly on my phone both at and away from home. Cameras do seem to load quicker and be more stable when away from home. Picture quality to be honest, appears the same. I don't see how a 4K image can get any better unless you're going from an older phone to a newer one.My only caveat is that when my eero router runs updates (which in my case seems to be weekly), I get the red ring on the hub telling me there's an issue- I don't know what the issue is (perhaps going offline while the update downloads?) but a simple "reboot" from the app and the hub returns to its happy blue ring self. Nowhere in the manual is there a good explanation for the red ring and what causes it to appear, hence the loss of a star.I've had the hub pro now for about 6 months. I highly recommend it especially if you have a lot of cameras.
