If you’ve had the pleasure of visiting France and experiencing anything from the boulangerie, you know how magnificent French baked goods are. This cake is delicious! It was moist and very flavorful. I chilled it in the fridge for an hour before serving though not required, I felt that it added to the moistness and flavor. Sans highly processed sugar and preservatives. Highly recommended if you’re looking for something more natural and less processed than what we generally get in the US. C’est magnifique!

The quality is very poor. The taste is just ok. A little dry and it’s very small and very thin. Not what I was expecting. Not worth the money. I definitely won’t buy again. The only good thing was the color. If you want something delicious don’t buy this. I end up tossing 3/4 of it.

I was very disappointed in this cake. It was dry and had very little taste to it. I don’t recommend it!

I would say this is about equal to one generous slice of a diner piece. Good desert for 2 people, 3 at most.But it is indestructibly packed in a large circular "sardine tin" so it cannot be damaged in transit and will have a long shelf life. It would be perfect to sneak in your backpack as a surprise desert--even for 4.And yes, it (orange and almond) did taste good. Kinda begs for some creme frêche or some other topping, but the metal tin guarantees it stays moist.

This is exactly what I have been missing (since going gluten free in 2005), a treat that actually has taste! It is so well packaged, quick delivery and never stale (like most pastry deliveries).I am so enjoying a slice with my morning expresso.Bravo!

I thoroughly enjoyed this dessert too bad I only ran across it on random search. Size of this dessert is relatively small, smaller than individual gluten free pizza size. What took me by surprise is once I took it out of the box, this dessert is in a tin can! So you can pop open like a tuna in a can!!! When I opened it, the cake was in one piece, and in place. It's about two inches thick and very fresh. This cake is not dense (little bit heavier than pound cake consistency) and is not too sweet which was refreshing and fairly flavorful. I can't wait to try other flavors! Thank you!
